RCUC installs Rotary Marker at adopted school

Spread the love:

The Rotary Club of Uptown Cubao (RCUC) installed a Rotary Marker at the Mathay building entrance of Maligaya Elementary School in Novaliches, Quezon City. This milestone coincided with the RCUC Brigada Eskwela Part 2 last September 15, 2022 at MES school premises, where RCUC members also distributed hygiene kits and delicious hot lugaw to the school kids. RCUC also turned over to the school one unit of aquaponics system and 10 units of portable hand wash stands.

The Rotary Marker creates awareness on what the Rotary is all about. It contains the Four-Way Test which serves as a guiding principles of Rotarians every where.

The Four-Way Test of the things we think, say or do:

  • Is it the TRUTH?
  • Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  • Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  • Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

In 1932, Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor created the Four-Way Test when he was asked to take charge of a company that was facing bankruptcy. Since then it became probably one of the world’s most popular statements of business ethics.
