The Rotary Club of Uptown Cubao was chartered in June 1985 (became official in December 1985) through the efforts of PDG Oscar “Oca” Inocentes and 21 charter members, with PP Tolomero “Loloy” Ligutan as the Charter President.
RC Uptown Cubao produced its first District Governor in RY 1994-1995 through PDG Oca Inocentes, making RCUC a member of the coveted ”Governors Club.”
Today, the same passion of service to others, and the spirit of camaraderie espoused by our founders and charter members are continued with the new generation of RCUC members. This tradition will continue as we hone and develop new leaders of the future.

The Rotary Club Of Uptown Cubao (RCUC) is committed to promote humanitarian service with a resolve to improve the quality of life of the less privileged sector of the society. The Club is also vent on pursuing a more dynamic member recruitment program while fostering camaraderie, cooperation and active participation among the current club members.
