16-Sep-2023. The Rotary Club of Uptown Cubao officially kicked-off its much awaited RCUC Football Grassroots Training with meeting the other stakeholders of this training program to explain the goals and objectives, together with HCP Jeff Alarilla of the Rotary Club of Cubao West, our partner for this program.
With support from Rotaract Club of Uptown Cubao, the Uptown Cubao Rotary Community Corp and Brgy. Pasong Putik SK, dozens of boys and girls in the 12-14 years old age bracket will have the opportunity to be trained by one of the premier coaches of Philippine football, Coach Frank Muescan, and Asian Football Confederation (AFC) “A” licensed Coach.
About the program
The Rotary Club of Uptown Cubao (RCUC) Football Grassroots Training program is a developmental initiative aimed at nurturing and developing young soccer players at the grassroots level – especially targeting kids from our adopted barangays and schools, as well as children of our fellow Rotarians. We are initially targeting age groups of 12-14 years, both boys and girls.
Our primary goal is to introduce these kids to the sport of football (also known as soccer) and provide them with the fundamental skills, knowledge, and experiences needed to progress in the sport.
