Pathways To Learning Series for Basic Education and Literacy

Unfortunately, many children and individuals around the world lack access to quality education and struggle with low literacy rates. In response to this pressing issue, the Rotaract Club of Uptown Cubao and the Rotary Club of Uptown Cubao have joined forces to launch a transformative initiative called UPTOWN: Unlocking Potential Through Our Words and Nurturing. This Pathways to Learning Series aims to address the challenges in basic education and literacy, and pave the way for a brighter future.

Unveiling UPTOWN:

UPTOWN, an acronym for “Unlocking Potential Through Our Words and Nurturing,” embodies the shared vision of the Rotaract and Rotary Club of Uptown Cubao to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and individuals through education and literacy. This joint collaboration serves as a beacon of hope, aiming to uplift communities by providing pathways to learning and nurturing the potential within each individual.

Pathways to Learning Series:

The UPTOWN initiative will feature a comprehensive Pathways to Learning Series, designed to address various aspects of basic education and literacy. Brigada Eskwela: The project will kickstart with a “Brigada Eskwela” campaign, where volunteers from both clubs, along with community members, will come together to renovate and enhance local schools. A robust online portal will be launched at Maligaya Elementary School to help teachers setup and prepare for online learning, and students to learn creative writing and writing news stories and publish their works and projects online.
