Written by In the wake of Typhoon Kristine’s devastating impact, the Rotary Club of Uptown Cubao stands in solidarity with the people of Juban, Bicol. On October 28, 2024, our club sent a team to deliver vital relief goods and support services to the affected communities.
Driven by our core belief that “service to humanity is our greatest responsibility,” this relief mission aimed to provide immediate assistance and bring hope to families grappling with loss and hardship. Our efforts focused on the distribution of essential items such as:
- Nutritious food packs
- Clean drinking water
- Temporary shelter materials
- Basic hygiene and survival necessities
This initiative was made possible through the unwavering support of our partners, donors, and selfless volunteers. Their contributions—whether in resources, time, or compassion—enabled us to reach those in urgent need and offer a measure of comfort in this difficult time.
