Bridging the Digital Divide: Rotary Club of Uptown Cubao Donates Computers to Maligaya Elementary School

The Rotary Club of Uptown Cubao proudly continues its mission of service and community empowerment with its donation of six (6) used personal computers to the Maligaya Elementary School Library last March 21, 2025. This meaningful initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to support education and enhance digital literacy among young learners.

In today’s technology-driven world, access to digital tools is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity. Unfortunately, many schools still lack the resources to provide students with the technological equipment they need to thrive. By donating these computers, the Rotary Club of Uptown Cubao hopes to help bridge this gap and offer students the opportunity to engage more deeply with their learning through technology.

The computers will be housed in the school’s library, where they will serve as valuable resources for research, learning applications, and developing essential computer skills. For many students at Maligaya Elementary School, this donation represents more than just access to machines—it’s a doorway to a broader world of knowledge and opportunity.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Giving Whilst Living – Hongkong, whose generous support made this donation possible. Their partnership in this endeavor underscores the power of collaborative efforts in driving meaningful change.

At the Rotary Club of Uptown Cubao, we believe that every child deserves the chance to succeed. By investing in education and digital access, we are investing in a brighter future for our communities.
